The following terms and conditions relate to ALL products sold by or through Elliotts Web (UK). On purchasing items from Elliott’s Web (UK) or Laura Elliott, you are agreeing to and accepting these conditions, in part or in full and as a contract of sale.

Payment Methods:

PAY PAL:

All payments are made via e-comCarts by Namesco, secure online shopping. This system takes payment by Pay Pal IPN. e-comCarts and the 128-bit SSL security is now easier and safer than ever for a business, whatever it's size, to sell over the Internet.

Pay Pal act as a third party agent to take payments for goods, Elliott's Web (UK) do not have any access to your card details. Adding peace of mind. Pay Pal also offer a payment protection plan (subject to Pay Pal terms and conditions).

Elliott’s Web (UK) account is a verified registered business account with Pay Pal. Full payment is always required prior to shipping any products to customers. We accept payments by PayPal / PayPal IPN only. A secure, fast and simple way to pay. Register for FREE at www.paypal.co.uk/UK/ to send and receive online payments.

Adding a note with your payment:

Pay Pal offer a handy box during check-out. If you wish to send me a note or request other services, such as insurance, then fill this section in. You can always e-mail me at sales@elliottsweb.co.uk if this doesn't allow enough space.

PAYING BY UK CHEQUE, BANKERS DRAFT OR POSTAL ORDER:

Paying by another method is simple.

If you wish to pay by UK cheque/ Bankers Draft or Postal Order, simply do the following steps:

  1. Fill out the online form,
  2. Print a copy on your home or office PC,
  3. Click the SEND button at the bottom of the form, which e-mails me your order (I can get it ready),
  4. Put the print out and your UK cheque/ bankers draft/ postal order made payable to: MISS LAURA ELLIOTT into an envelope
  5. If you want to you can add a note with any other comments you may wish to add.
  6. Send it to the following address:

The goods will be sent when the cheque clears, this can take up to 10 working days.

Postal Orders and Bankers Drafts will be sent within 3 working days.

 

Customs Charges ~ International Customers:

Customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and this is a percentage of the value of the goods.

Elliott's Web (UK) aim to find out this charge before shipping and add this to the bill, but at times charges come through after payment and shipping has been completed. Elliott's Web (UK) will contact the customer directly to arrange payment.

 

Special Offers:

Any special offers on artwork sold by Elliott’s Web (UK) state clearly the end date and end midnight GMT on that date. After this date all artwork will be sold at the full and previously advertised price.

 

General Product Information:

ORIGINAL ARTWORK:

Every original artwork is produced on a triple primed 100% cotton high quality canvas. All materials used are to the highest standards and the artist only uses Daler Rowney or Winsor and Newton paint (acrylic or oil), thus ensuring a vibrancy, quality and longevity of colour within each painting. Box and standard edge canvases are painted and staple free, therefore framing is not required and every piece is ready to hang. Please see information on each piece for specific details.

All paintings are signed by the artist, LHE. Every painting comes with its own certificate, signed by the artist, to guarantee its authenticity.

ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS:

Every photograph sold by Elliott’s Web, unless otherwise stated, are of the highest quality and are printed at Wokingham Photographics, Wokingham, UK. Photographs are printed on quality paper; this is to ensure longevity of colour and contrast. It is recommended that all photographs be displayed and stored out of direct sunlight as this can impair the colour, as is the case with watercolours. We recommend that photographs are displayed behind special glass with a sunlight filter. All prices are clearly stated on this site in the ‘Photograph Prints’ Page.

ARTWORK PRINTS:

All artwork prints will be shipped directly from the supplier. Gallery stretched canvases are stretched canvas on a wooden standard frame and will be shipped by courier (UK and International). Canvas sheet, heavy watercolour paper and photographic prints will be shipped by either Recorded Delivery (UK) or Royal Mail Airsure (International). This is why there is a variation in price. All prices are clearly stated on this site in the ‘Giclee Prints ’ Page.

HANDMADE GREETINGS CARDS:

Every greetings card sold by Elliott's Web (UK) is handmade and of the highest quality. Basic designs of the front of the card and inserts may vary according to stock. All cards have a attractive inserts with a range of messages

Standard Cards:

Standard cards will be delivered within 5-7 days via 1st Class Royal Mail.
ALL cards viewed 'landscape orientation' (click here for example) are Blank for your own message.

Personalised Cards:

If you require a specific message, then e-mail me before you order to ensure this is possible, as these are non-returnable/ non-refundable, unless agreed in writting by Elliott's Web (UK) or incorrect. Personalised cards will be delivered in 7-10 days via 1st Class Royal Mail.

Seasonal / Christmas Cards:

Seasonal / Christmas cards will be delivered within 5-7 days via 1st Class Royal Mail. Please order ASAP to ensure they arrive in plenty of time.

COPYRIGHT WATERMARK:

This is embedded into the images by Elliott’s Web (UK) to protect the rights of the artist Laura Elliott. These are NOT A PART OF THE FINAL IMAGE and will NOT appear in any original or prints sold.

 

COLOUR DEFINITIONS:

Please note on screen colour definitions may differ to that of the original or prints due to; camera settings, computer settings – (Monitor – {Graphics card and available palette}).

 

SIZING:

Pictures are not to scale, so please check measurements before purchasing. All artwork, prints, greeting cards, framed prints or photographs are measured in inches.

Artwork may have been previously scanned or photographed for other purposes, such as prints, cards, calendars and other related products. The artwork cannot be used by any third parties for any other purpose, without written legal consent, on headed paper, from either Elliott's Web (UK) Art Gallery, or the artist, Laura Elliott.

We ship internationally to the following countries:

EUROPE: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

USA

For all other countries please contact us before purchasing.

1. UK Postage: UK postage is included in the advertised prices. Collection in person can be arranged on an individual basis.

2. UK Shipping Information: All paintings will be shipped in secure packaging via Courier or Special Delivery. We do not use Royal Mail Standard Parcels as this does not include insurance.

3. Delivery times will vary from country to country, however we will aim to dispatch goods within 5-7 working days after receipt of CLEARED payment(s).

4. International Postage: International shipping will be an additional cost via Courier, Airsure or International Signed-for with insurance to cover the cost of the painting purchased. Please e-mail me at sales@elliottsweb.co.uk with the title of the piece, your location and type of shipping you would prefer and I will discuss it further and quote costs.

ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS:

All Postage is in addition to the cost of EACH photograph(s) purchased and is clearly stated.

1. UK Postage: All photographs are sent in a hard backed envelope via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, this is for proof of delivery and is NOT insurance against loss, damage or theft. Insurance can be included and is at additional cost.

2. International Postage: All photographs are sent in a hard backed envelope via International signed-for. This is for proof of delivery and is NOT insurance against loss, damage or theft. Insurance is at additional cost.

3. Delivery times will vary from country to country, however we will aim to dispatch goods within 14 working days after receipt of CLEARED payment(s).

ARTWORK PRINTS:

All Postage is in addition to the cost of EACH prints(s) purchased and is clearly stated in the ‘Giclee Prints’ Main Page.

1. All items are shipped directly from our supplier to the customer. Postage methods are via Recorded Delivery (UK Only) or Courier. Recorded Delivery is for the UK only and is only a proof of delivery and not insurance. Insurance can be included and is at additional cost.

2. Delivery time vary from country to country, however we will aim to dispatch goods within 14-28 working days after receipt of CLEARED payment(s).

HANDMADE GREETINGS CARDS:

1. UK Postage: All cards are sent in a hard backed envelope and are shipped by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. This is a proof of delivery only, and does not insure against theft or damage in the post. In the case of claims, refund only issued once purchase is returned. UK Postal times:

Standard Cards: 5-7 working days

Personalised Cards: 7-10 working days.

2. International Postage: All cards are sent in a hard backed envelope via Royal Mail International signed-for including up to £30 insurance. Insurance for orders over £30 is at additional cost must be paid and requested prior to posting/ at time of payment. In the case of claims, refund only issued once purchase is returned. International postage times:

Standard Cards: 7-10 working days
Personalised Cards: 10-14 working days.

Consumer Protection:

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 online sellers must offer a cooling off period. This means you have the right to cancel in writing up to 7 working days after you have received your purchase. However, as of March 2006 the newly updated SafeBuy Code of Practice now means we offer a minimum of a 14 day cooling off period which exceeds the statutory minimum. This means you have 14 working days from the day the item is received in which to cancel your order and receive a full refund less the postage you have been charged within 30 days of cancellation.*

* We are not legally entitled to give a refund for an item which has been created specially for you such as a commissioned painting, personalised greetings card and so on.

 

Returns Policy: Damage in Transit

ORIGINAL ARTWORK:

Any damaged goods must be reported upon receipt and returned within 14 days (UK) and 21 days (Other Countries) with their original packaging for an insurance claim with the courier company. Please note the artist cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of or to the piece in transit; however, upon return of the painting and original packaging a refund can be issued. Costs paid by Elliott’s Web in posting items will be deducted from any refund, (after a successful claim) in the event of an item being returned.

PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS:

All photographs are sent via Next Day Special Delivery or International signed-for. This includes insurance for the package up to £30 for loss, damage or theft. If the package is over £30 in value, extra insurance will be required to be paid by the customer in addition to the basic postage costs. Refunds will only be issued if a successful claim is made through the Royal Mail claims system.

ARTWORK PRINTS:

Any damaged goods must be reported upon receipt and returned to the arranged location within 14 days (UK) and 21 days (Other Countries) with their original packaging for an insurance claim with the courier company. Please note the artist cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of or to the piece in transit; however, upon return of the painting and original packaging a replacement print / refund can be issued. Costs paid by Elliott’s Web or our suppliers in posting items will be deducted from any refund (after a successful claim) in the event of an item being returned.

HANDMADE GREETINGS CARDS:

Please contact Elliott's Web (UK) before returning them for refund or replacement to be actioned. Refund or replacement is only considered once purchase is returned.

1. UK Postage: Returnable at cost of customer. In the case of claims, refund only issued once purchase is returned. All cards are sent in a hard backed envelope and are shipped by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. This is a proof of delivery only, and does not insure against theft or damage in the post. Insurance at extra cost.

2. International Postage: All cards are sent in a hard backed envelope via Royal Mail International signed-for including up to £30 insurance. Insurance for orders over £30 is at additional cost must be paid and requested prior to posting/ at time of payment. In the case of claims, refund only issued once purchase is returned.

Standard Cards:

Refund only issued if product is faulty, once purchase is returned.

Personalised Cards:

If you require a specific message, then e-mail me before you order to ensure this is possible. They are non returnable and , unless damaged or incorrect and refund only considered once purchase is returned. Personalised cards will be delivered in 7-10 days via 1st Class Royal Mail.

 

Privacy Policy and Personal Information:

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mail from us in the future. We do NOT hold or handle any personal credit or bank information as we use Pay Pal, a third party transfer agency. Please see www.paypal.com/UK for more information.
